Last week our class participated in the 4th grade field trip to the State Capitol, Legislative Building, and Old State House in Hartford. We had a full day of activities that supported what we have been learning in class about the three branches of government and our state government. They received a tour of the Legislative Building, met with a town representative and senate member at the State Capitol, and participated in a mock trial at the Old State House just to name a few! We had a fun, educational-filled day and would like to share some pictures for you to view! Enjoy!
We had a wonderful time celebrating the holidays and creating our gingerbread houses before winter break. Thank you to all the parents who volunteered their time to help out and be a part of our fun day. I hope you enjoy the children's creations! |
